The security team enables all visitors to the Humboldt Forum to have a pleasant and safe stay, while also protecting the exhibits.

The team of around 100 staff members works around the clock in shifts. During opening hours, they are responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors and staff, as well as protecting the cultural assets on display within the exhibitions.

Furthermore, the security team performs first aid in case of medical emergencies and works closely together with the institution’s own security control centre as well as emergency services and authorities. At the same time, the team is happy to respond to visitors’ needs. It also provides security for more than 500 events per year with national and international guests, including prominent public and political figures.
